Already completed all the steps to be WatchDOG and ready to volunteer at the school?
Here's the link to the WatchDOG Volunteer form. Remember to fill it out at least a couple days before you plan to show up so the school knows you are coming.

Join the Watch D.O.G.S. Program at Rutledge!
Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is an incredible program that invites fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father-figures to volunteer at Rutledge and become positive role models for our students.
By spending time on campus, you can make a meaningful impact on our school community, helping to create a safe and supportive learning environment. It’s a great opportunity to engage with your child’s education and show them how much you care.
Join us in making a difference! It's pretty easy...
1. Be a current member of the Rutledge PTA. Need to join? This is required since Watch D.O.G.S. is a Rutledge PTA-sponsored program.
2. Be an approved LISD volunteer. This is required by the district and helps keep everyone at the school safe.
3. Join the Rutledge Watch D.O.G.S. WhatsApp group to connect with other Rutledge dads and father-figures. Don't forget to introduce yourself!
4. Visit the "DOG store" to purchase an official Watch D.O.G.S. shirt. You'll wear this every time you come to the school as a Watch DOG. Consider it your uniform.
5. A couple days before volunteering at the school, fill out the Watch DOG Volunteer form so the school knows you are coming and can best utilize your time.
6. That's it! Time to create smiles and make a difference!
